Thomas Samuel Irons, 60, of Star City, passed away on May 9, 2019 at his home.
He was a was a retired log truck driver and a member of Yorktown First Baptist Church. He loved hunting and fishing, but most of all loved his family.
Mr. Irons was born on August 30, 1958 in Hot Springs to the late Thomas Lee and Evelyn Pauline Coats Irons.
Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Leon Irons and Terry Irons; and a sister, Ruby Burks.
Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Leggett Irons; a son, Nakota Irons; two daughters, Kaitlynn Irons and Ashley Foster, all of Star City; two brothers, Leo (Fern) Irons of Oden and Gerald (April) Irons of Monticello; two sisters, Evelyn (David) Merritt and Venita Leggett, both of Star City; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Graveside services will be held Monday, May 13, at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Springs Cemetery in Coleman (Drew County) with Bro. Robert Greene officiating. Visitation will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Service in Star City.
Pallbearers are Nakota Irons, Andrew Westbrook, Maeson Brock, Jay David Merritt, Jamie Merritt and David Willson.
