Thomasene Anders, 86, of Crossett, passed away on May 20, 2014 at Life Touch Hospice in El Dorado.
She was born on January 27, 1928 in Smackover and was the daughter of the late Thomas Bradford and Lou Anna Ford Rodgers.
Mrs. Anders was a former employee of Bemis Bag Company and a member of North Crossett First Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and working with flowers. Mrs. Anders was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Chester Anders.
Survivors include two sons, Gale Anders (Sandy) of Crossett, Rev. Mickey Anders(Sarah) of Lexington, Ky.; four grandchildren, Dana Anders Miller (Jeff) of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Niki Anders Black (Clay) of Crossett, Andy Anders (Crystal) of Centreville, Md., Will Anders of Lexington, Ky. and three great-grandchildren, Gracen Miller, Jordyn Black and Lizzie Anders.
Funeral services will be held May 24 at 10 a.m. at North Crossett First Baptist Church with Bro. Robin Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. May 23 at North Crossett First Baptist Church.
