U.S. Rep. Tom Cotton will stop in Monticello Saturday on his “Arkansas First” bus tour around Arkansas promoting his bid to unseat Democratic U.S. Sen. Mark Pryor.
Cotton will be at the Monticello town square Saturday, August 9 from 5 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Cotton is campaigning around the state in an RV covered with an oversized campaign logo.
Cotton, a Republican, is a freshman congressman representing south Arkansas’ 4th Congressional District. Pryor was first elected to the Senate in 2002. The race is one of the closely watched in the country, with the candidates and outside groups having spent nearly $18 million.
