Tommy Gene Sikes, 60, of Monticello, passed away on January 28, 2017 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.
He was a great father and friend to many. He loved God and was of the Baptist faith. He worked at Potlatch in Warren for many years and was a hard worker. When he wasn’t working, he loved to crappie fish, spend time with his kids and spoil his grandkids. He loved football and basketball, and was definitely a fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks. He traveled to many places and got to experience the many joys of life. It is no question that his family and friends will miss him dearly.
He was born on October 23, 1956 in Dermott to Mary Horn Conoway and the late Billy Gene Sikes. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Glenn Conoway, Jr.
Survivors include one daughter, Allison Sikes Morgan and husband Chris of Monticello; one son Tommy Gene Ellis of West Monroe, LA; his mother, Mary Horn Conoway of Lake Isabella, CA; one sister, Juanita Stimac-Lillard of OK; three granddaughters, Madilyn Morgan, Vaida Morgan and Skylar Ellis and one grandson, Dakota Ellis.
