In the midst of heavy flooding in Southeast Arkansas, severe thunderstorms and possible tornadoes ripped across the region Sunday night.
Meteorologists with the National Weather Service in North Little Rock are expected to head down to Southeast Arkansas this week, possibly Tuesday, to investigate reports of tornadoes in Grady and McGehee, according to Michael Brown, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in North Little Rock.
Brown said Monday morning he has viewed videos of tornadoes in Grady and McGehee, but has not personally confirmed the tornadoes or received damage reports.
Today, meteorologists are focusing on western Arkansas where they have received reports of damage, Brown said.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
