The University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM) baseball team is ranked as high as No. 11 in this week’s NCAA Division II national polls.

Following a 2-1 series victory over Henderson State this past weekend, their third straight conference series win, the Weevils (14-4) moved up two spots to No. 11 in this week’s Top 30. College Baseball Lineup moved UAM up one spot to No. 12 this week, while the Weevils remained at No. 20 in the latest Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Top 30.

This week’s National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Top 25 will be released on Tuesday. The Weevils have yet to make the NCBWA national rankings, but have received votes in each of the previous two polls.

The No. 11 Weevils are back in action this Wednesday on the road against No. 4 Southern Arkansas in a game that was originally scheduled for Tuesday. The game was pushed back to allow for an extra day of field preparation in Magnolia. Wednesday’s game is the first of four contests between the Weevils and Muleriders this season, and will be counted as a non-conference game. The two squads meet again at the end of the regular season for a three-game GAC series in Monticello.

The double header at LeMoyne-Owen College has been rescheduled for March 10.
