Rodgers presented a poster session entitled “Career Pathways Plus Community Service Equals Sustainability,” which depicted the impact community service has on any initiative.
As part of the program, UAM COT-McGehee received a $27,500 performance-based student support award for outstanding performance during the 2010 fiscal year. UAM COT-McGehee will use a portion of the funds for faculty professional development on topics such as classroom management and suicide prevention. The remainder will be used for purchase of new computers and Career Pathways direct student support.
