UAM College of Technology-McGehee administrative office technology instructor Tonya Loe (pictured above, left, with one of her students, Marina Mondragon of Lake Village) was recently appointed to the professional division board of Arkansas Phi Beta Lambda during the organization’s 53rd State Leadership Conference in North Little Rock.
Loe will serve as secretary-treasurer of the board for the 2015-16 academic year. Phi Beta Lambda is an honor society for postsecondary business students. The organization’s professional division is primarily comprised of business people and educators. Loe also serves on the Arkansas Future Business Leaders of America-Phi BetaLambda Foundation Board.
The state conference recognized the McGehee campus for activating a new Phi Beta Lambda chapter in 2014 and forhaving the second largest increase in chapter membership. Loe serves as PhiBeta Lambda faculty advisor.
