Five students and one staff member from the UAM College of Technology-McGehee attended the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda Spring Leadership Conference March 31 through April 2 in Little Rock.
Those attending were (pictured from left) Stacey Harris of Greenville, Miss., Versie Williams of Dumas, Roderick Crosby of McGehee, Sarah Hunt of Reed, and Tonya Loe, advisor.
The McGehee chapter of Phi Beta Lambda won the Power of One Purple ribbon award by increasing membership and also won third place in scrapbook, and fifth in largest recruitment of members. Versie Williams from Dumas won fourth place in client service. While at the conference students participated in seminars and workshops as part of the Clinton Foundation Leadership Track at the Clinton Presidential Library.
