The Arkansas-Monticello baseball team dropped a three-game Great American Conference series with Northwest Oklahoma State University this weekend in Ada, Oklahoma, where UAM senior infielder Jordan Johnson broke the GAC career home run record.

Despite carrying a 4-1 lead into the bottom of the seventh inning of the series opener Saturday, the Weevils dropped the game 6-4. Northwestern Oklahoma State scored five runs in the bottom of the seventh and held that lead the remaining two innings.

The following day, the Weevils closed the series falling to NWOSU in the final two games. They dropped the second game, 12-11 and the final game, 14-12.

In the third and final game of the series, UAM senior infielder Jordan Johnson hit his forty-third career home run, breaking the all-time Great American Conference record for career home runs.
