Farhad Masum, a graduate student in the School of Forest Resources at the University of Arkansas at Monticello, recently won a poster competition at the 12th annual Southern BioProducts and Renewable Energy Conference in Tunica, Miss.

The poster illustrates the life cycle analysis of carbon sequestration of agroforestry systems in the Mississippi alluvial valley. The poster was created by Masum, a second year graduate student from Bangladesh with assistance from faculty members Dr. Sayeed Mehmood, Dr. Hal Liechty, and Dr. Matthew Pelkki as well as Michael Glazer of Louisiana State University.
