The University of Arkansas at Monticello’s Office of Community Education will offer a class in digital photography November 8, 15 and 22 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in room 115 of the Memorial Classroom Building.

The class, entitled “How To Take Better Photographs” will be taught by Jim Brewer, UAM’s director of media services. The cost of the class is $75.

Participants will learn the basics of photography, from the proper way to hold a camera to the relationship between ISO numbers, shutter speed and f-stop, as well as how to correct mistakes common to most amateur photographers.
