The University of Arkansas at Monticello (Monticello campus) will operate on the inclement weather schedule on Friday, March 6. The first classes will begin at 10 a.m. As it relates to employees, the following excerpt from the Inclement Weather Policy applies:
On days declared to be covered by the inclement weather policy, all employees (except those designated as critical personnel) should be at their work stations by 10:00 a.m. Employees arriving by 10:00 a.m. and working the remainder of the day will be given credit for a full day’s attendance. Employees arriving after 10:00 a.m. will be charged the full amount of time involved in the tardiness, and employees not coming to work at all will be charged a full day’s absence.
The COT campuses at Crossett and McGehee will resume their respective normal schedules on Friday, March 6.
If an emergency should arise please call 460-1000. Notices concerning the operation of the campus can be obtained on the UAM website, local TV stations, local radio, and through UAMAlert. Please use extreme caution on any necessary travel and moving about campus for our students in residence housing.
