Vada Loretta Kee Fryar, 78, of McGehee passed away on February 17, 2015.
She was a Baptist, a retired homemaker and long-time caretaker for the late Judge Wallace. She loved gardening and was an avid walker, taking walks to the railroad depot almost every day to watch the trains pass.
Mrs. Fryara was born in Paris, Arkansas on October 9, 1936 to the late Wilbur Kee and Eva Jean Hall Kee. She was one of 12 children.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, and two beloved sons, Marvin Dewayne Fryar and Kenny Dean Fryar.
She is survived by four grandchildren, Toni Fryar of McGehee, Tommy Fryar and his wife Amber of Monticello, Kevin Fryar of Monticello, and Amber Armstrong of Callion; four great-grandchildren, Kirkland, Keith, Blake, and Alexia; and two daughters-in-law, Diane Fryar and Susie Hackett Fryar.
Visitation will be held February 19, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee. Funeral services will be held February 20, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Chapel with Rev. Kenny Culpepper officiating. Burial will follow at McArthur Cemetery.
