Vera West Freer Wagnon, 97, of Warren died on May 19, 2015 at Bradley County Medical Center in Warren.
She was a founding charter member of First Free Will Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was a Proverbs 31 woman, providing care and praying for family, friends and her community.
Mrs. Wagnon was born on June 13, 1917 in Bradley County and was the daughter of the late Ervin West and Bessie Wright West.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles William Freer; her second husband, Floyd Wagnon; a son-in-law Billy Sinclair; a grandson, Tommy Gardner; seven brothers, Earnest West, Russell West, Vernon West, Louie West, Slick West, Vester West and Pete West; and a sister, Nona Pullin.
Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Sue Gardner and husband J.E. Gardner of Warren and Patricia Ann Sinclair, also of Warren; a sister, Mary Reddin of Camden; a brother, Billy Gene West and wife Wanda of Warren; three grandchildren, Debra Jackson, Shaun Sinclair and Sonya Williams; eight great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on May 21 at 10 a.m. at Frazer’s Funeral Home in Warren with Revs. Todd West and Ricky Rauls officiating. Burial will be at Willoughby Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Jim Jolley, Tim West, Jerry West, Sammie West, Allen West, Johnny Pearce and Jimmy Reep. Honorary pallbearers are Clarence Freer Jr., Mark Williams, Brain Clark, Jackie West and Kevin Jackson.
