Willie Virginia Farrish McMahan, 93, of Crossett, passed away on December 20, 2013.
She was born August 21, 1920 in Watson and was the daughter of the late James Augusta and Lula Mae Farrish.
Mrs. McMahan was retired from North Crossett Utility Co. where she was employed from from 1971 until 1983. After her retirement, she worked at Jones Funeral Home in Crossett for many years serving families as a night hostess. She was also a member of the Ashley County Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Crossett.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Howard McMahan; four siblings, Jeanette Tarver, Franklin (Pete) Farrish, and Marie Alexander; Jessie (Pogh) Farrish.
Survivors include three sons, Samuel James (Kaye) McMahan, Frank W. (Mary) McMahan and Gary L. (Sharon) McMahan, all of Crossett; two daughters, Ruth (Jerry) Morgan of Albany, Ga., and Pat (Leonard) Burke of Monticello; 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on December 23 at 10 a.m., at First Baptist Church with Bro. Jamie Staley and Bro. Mike Griffith officiating. Interment will follow at Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.

Pallbearers will be Steven McMahan, Samuel McMahan Jr., Jason McMahan, Andy McMahan, Clayton Burke and Marty McCasland. Honorary pallbearers will be Tracy Saunders, Eric Smith, Mike Pippen, Billy Hall, Clay Saunders and Joshua Jackson.
