Wanda Clingman Gardner, 86, of Monticello, formerly of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away January 10, 2015 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.
She was a retired Dental Assistant, working in Los Alamos and Albuquerque. She was a Baptist and an active member of her church in Albuquerque. She loved planting flowers and working in the yard.
She was born February 26, 1928 at Warren and was the daughter of the late Arthur Alexander and Bennie Person Clingman.
In adddition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Will G. Gardner; two brothers, Arthur Clingman, Jr. (Buddy) of California, Bobby Pearson Clingman of Lubbock, Texas and one sister, Sue Carolyn Clingman of Warren.
Survivors include two sisters, Arthurline Clingman of Austin, Texas and Lanier Carson of Monticello; a nephew, Richard Carson and wife Karen Carson of Monticello; a great-niece, Melanie Carson of Conway; an adopted sister, Judy McInnis of Austin, Texas; cousins, friends and a very special friend, Beverly Hudson.
The funeral service will be held January 13 at 10 a.m. at Stephenson Dearman Funeral Home in Monticello. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery in Warren.
