A Warren man was killed Tuesday in a one-vehicle crash on U.S. 63 in Bradley County, according to an Arkansas State Police preliminary accident report.
Gary S. Lloyd, 58, was driving north on U.S. 63 in rural Bradley County when he failed to negotiate a right-hand curve. The 2013 Ford he was driving exited the highway and entered the northbound ditch where the vehicle’s undercarriage struck the ditch causing it to go airbourne. The left front of the vehicle then struck a tree and rolled over on its right side, according to the accident report.
Lloyd died at the scene of the accident.
The crash occurred at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday. The weather was clear and the roadway was dry.
At least 327 people have died as a result of accidents on Arkansas roads this year, according to preliminary figures.
