A wind advisory is in effect Friday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Winds of 15 to 30 miles per hour with gusts from 35 to 45 mph for much of Arkansas, including Southeast Arkansas.
Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects, tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution when driving, and be alert to sudden gusts that may cause you to lose control of your vehicle. Boaters should be very careful on area bodies of water given choppy conditions.
