William “Bill” Whithorne Bunker, Sr., 71, of Lake Village died on October 20, 2018 at his home.
He was a farmer, Bank of Lake Village board member, and a member of the Lakeside United Methodist Church.
Mr. Bunker was born October 20, 1947 in Lake Village to the late Nelson Waldo Bunker, III and the late Betty Lou (Barger) Bunker.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bunker was preceded in death by two brothers, Nelson Waldo Bunker, IV and Jack Barger Bunker.
Survivors are his wife of 50 years, Claudia Dee (Mitchell) Bunker of Lake Village; two sons, William Whithorne Bunker, Jr. and wife Monica, of San Francisco, California and Nelson Waldo Bunker, V and wife Megan, of Windsor, Colorado; two daughters, Eva Elizabeth Bunker of Austin, Texas and Amber Dee Bunker of Lake Village; a sister, Sarah Jane Farr of Guatemala City, Guatemala; six grandchildren, Madelynn Raine Bunker, Jacob Nelson Bunker, Ian William Bunker, Eleanor Griffin Bunker, Nelson Waldo Bunker, VI (Neil), and his twin sister, Margaret June Bunker; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 25, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Bishop-King Funeral Home in Lake Village.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 26 at 10:30 a.m. at Lakeside United Methodist Church in Lake Village. Rev. Buddy Ratliff will officiate. Burial will follow at Lake Village Cemetery in Lake Village under the direction of Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village.
