William Dale Phillips

William Dale Phillips, 75, of Crossett, passed away on February 1, 2022.

He was born in Camden, Arkansas on January 29, 1947 to William Cline and Ludie Harris Phillips.

He served in the United States Navy serving three tours in Vietnam. He has worked at Otasco for five years followed by several years at E + B Electric as well as C. E. D. Electric. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of Crossett Bass Club for well over thirty years. He loved spending time with his daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Clifton Oliver and one brother, Roger Dean Phillips.

He leaves to cherish his memory, three daughters, Pamela Smith (William) of Glenwood, Michelle Parks (Jeremy) of Boone, Iowa and Patty Smith of Caddo Gap; six grandchildren, Courtney Smith, Brittany Wilson (Skyler), Chance Smith (Daisy), Michael Parks, Josiah Parks and Alex Parks; seven great grandchildren, Mallory, Rayleigh, Blaiklynn, Kali, Briar, Josie and Madilynn along with sister-in-law, Vicky Phillips and a host of friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, February 4 at 1 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Crossett with Bro. Mike Griffith officiating. Interment will be at Judson Cemetery in Hamburg.

Pallbearers are Jeff Marks, Patrick Chapman, Paul Wilkerson, Jackie Parker, Glenn Brockwell, Tony Blann and Leroy LaLumandier. Honorary Pallbearers are Chris Watkins, Cliff Bailey and Crossett Bass Club.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 3 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home.
