William Duane Clay, 26, of McGehee, passed away November 15, 2020 at his home.
He was born May 4, 1994 in Hemphill, Texas to the late William Clay, Jr. and Sharon Russell.
Mr. Clay loved to fish, write and draw, and loved music of all kinds. He was a hard worker and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rev. C.W. and Betty Yarberry and paternal grandparents, William Clay, Sr. and Duane Hamman.
Survivors include his stepfather, James Russell of Tillar; grandmother, Edith Hamman of Bearden; four sisters, Jenifer Galvin of Star City, Ashley Healey (Ronald) of Camden, Rachel Thompson (Robert) of McGehee and Cassie Slavings (Keith) of Woodson; and six nieces, five nephews and many extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 18, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
