William Edward Dixon, 79, of Crossett, passed away on June 30, 2021.
He was born on September 15, 1941 to Palmer C. and Katherine Stratton Dixon.
William retired from twenty years in the United States Air Force then transitioned into the real estate business. He graduated from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree.
While in the Air Force, William served during the Vietnam War and received the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal with four Oak Clusters, and Vietnam Service Medal with four Bronze Stars.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jerry Dixon.
William is survived by his daughter, Christina Dixon of White Salmon, Washington; one sister, Mary Whitworth along with many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services with Air Force Honor Guard will be Saturday, July 3, 10 a.m. at Pinewood Memorial Park in Hamburg with Bro. Andy Connard officiating. A time of visitation will follow at the cemetery.
