He was a machinist, a United States Army veteran and enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf.
Mr. Swan was born February 27, 1943 in Monticello to the late George Tutt Swan and Edith Chambers Swan.
Survivors include his wife, Erica Lewis Swan of Monticello; a son, Johnny Swan and wife Mia of Virginia Beach, Virginia; a daughter, Gena Harmon and husband Randy of Benton; a brother, James Larry Swan of Monticello; four grandchildren, Kortney Harmon Spann, Kyle Harmon, Solveig Swan and Karsten Swan; one step grandchild, Marc Anthony Lewis and some special nieces.
Funeral service will be held on May 22 at 10 a.m. at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial in Enon Cemetery. Visitation will be May 21 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
