William Floyd Harbison, 62, of Hamburg, died September 21, 2015 at the Ashley County Medical Center in Crossett.
He graduated from Hamburg High School in 1971. He was a farmer, a drummer, a member of the First Baptist Church, and an avid duck and turkey hunter. He made lifelong friends through his music and hunting brothers.
Mr. Harbison was preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Harbison.
He is survived by his loving companion, Debbie Ross of Hamburg; a beloved son, Allen Ross and wife, Monica, of Stillwater, Oklahoma; his mother and step-father, Bettye James Harbison Anderson and Ron Anderson of Morrilton; a sister, Bettejo Harbison; a niece, Laurin Miles and husband, Stephen, all of Hot Springs; two great-nephews, Jaxon and Alex; a great-niece, Amelia and two cousins, James and John Harbison.
Funeral services will be held on September 24 at 2 p.m. at the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Jeremy Mills and Allen Ross officiating. Burial will be in the Hamburg Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Seth Hill, Chester Huntsman, Darrell Stewart, Ted Richardson, Bryan Watkins and Cody Brooks. Honorary pallbearers are Slik Nickel and Jimbo Ralph.
Visitation will be September 23 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home.
