William Jerry Pamplin

William Jerry Pamplin, 75, of White Hall, passed away December 27, 2021, at St. Bernard Hospital in Jonesboro.

He was born October 16, 1946, in Hamburg, to the late Charles Edward Pamplin and Vivian Inez Newton Pamplin.

He was retired from Riceland Foods, a United States Marine veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Mr. Pamplin loved country music, going on Branson trips with his wife Rita, watching TV and eating his favorite foods.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Lynn Pamplin; and his stepmother, Claudine Pamplin.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Rita Owens Pamplin of White Hall; one son, Billy Pamplin and wife Erin of Rogers; one daughter, Tresa Manley and husband Justin of Monticello; two stepsons, Andy Hayden and Brady Hayden and wife Bre all of the Coleman community; one sister, Audrey Ann Gober and husband Ken of Monroe, Louisiana; a half-brother, Charles Wayne Pamplin and wife Andrea of Houma, Louisiana; a half-sister, Laura Ann Mayo of Pendegrass, Georgia; two step-brothers; eight grandchildren, Kayla Savage, Jaelynn Savage, William Frizzell, Johnathan Frizell, Cassity Pamplin, Dixie Morrison, Wyatt Hayden and Kalina Dee; six great grandchildren, Joshalynn Savage, Atkin Savage, Lynnex Savage, Emberly Savage, Avery Frizzell and Marley Frizzell; and his special four-legged child, Hank.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 30, at 2 p.m. at Oakland Cemetery in Monticello. There will be a visitation from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. preceding the service.
