William “Steve” Robert Stephenson, 64, of Lake Village died October 29, 2021 in Little Rock.
He was born in Lake Village on July 1, 1957 to Harold and Virginia Burris Stephenson.
Steve retired from Arkansas AG after 40 years working in different positions in the company. He was an honored member of Long Shots Deer Camp. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool, mowing the yard, and collecting John Deere memorabilia.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by Sherry Everett Stephenson, his wife of 32 years; three daughters, Stephanie Smith (Richard) of Alexander City, Alabama, Autumn Wiggington (Alex) of Lake Village and Amber Reginelli of Centerton; two brothers, Dewayne Stephenson of Houston, Texas, and Jackie Stephenson (Debbie) of Little Rock; 13 grandchildren, Emillee, Elliott, Hayden, Nathan, Nelson, Layeton, Anna Kate, Kade, Amelia, Aleah, Sheridan (Joe), Kamryn, and Landry; and one great-grandchild on the way.
Visitation will be held Sunday, October 31, from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Bishop-King Funeral Home in Lake Village.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, November 1, at 2 p.m. at Bishop-King Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Buddy Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Nelson and Layeton Bennett, Elliott Evans, Kade Wiggington, Hayden Haddock, and Alex Wiggington. Honorary pallbearers are Joe Williams, Gus Pugh, Don Arensman, George Rutledge, Pete Kniss, and Joe Heape.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Chicot County Humane Society.
