William “W.T.” Adams, 69, of Crossett, passed away on December 1, 2020, at the UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock.
He was born in Hamburg on April 22, 1951, to his parents, Luther and Hattie Mae Pollock Adams.
Mr. Adams was a 1968 graduate of Hamburg High School and drove trucks for T&A Timber for several years, but most recently drove for Dirtco.
Mr. Adams was a quiet, gentle man who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a hard worker who loved his family and was adored by his children.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister, Virginia Ann Adams; and four brothers, George Glen Adams, Charles Louis Adams, Clarence C. Adams, and Carl “Deanie” Adams.
He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Dixie Rhea Adams of Crossett; a son, Brent Adams of Bentonville; three daughters, Gayla Williams (Todd) of Crossett, Clara Cain Cook (John) of Crossett, and Audrey McGee (Terry) of Tillar; two brothers, Donald “Birtie” Adams (Debbie) and Richard Adams (Pam) all of Hamburg; a sister in law, Judy Adams; and thirteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one on the way.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, December 4, at 1 p.m. the First United Pentecostal Church, 102 Etheridge Drive, in Crossett, with Pastor Larry Hickman officiating. Interment will follow at Carlock Cemetery under the direction of Medders Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Friday from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
Pallbearers are Todd Williams, Todd Williams, Jr., Terry McGee, John Robert Cook, Jerry Walton, and Doyle Walton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made towards W.T.’s funeral expenses at Medders Funeral Home, 1564 Hwy 52 W, Crossett, AR 71635.
