Willie Earnest Parker, Jr., 66, of Star City, died April 8, 2015 at his home, surrounded by his family.
He was born April 18, 1948 in Yorktown to the late Willie Earnest Parker, Sr. and Viola Goins Parker. He was a member of St. Ollie Missionary Baptist Church and was a butcher for many years in Milwaukee, WI.
Also preceding him in death were 2 brothers, John Henry Parker and Nathaniel Parker.
Survivors include six sons, Willie (Demi) Parker, II, Willie (Kaletta) Parker, III, Gregory (Hillary) Parker, Isaiah (Shakeya) Parker, Randale Parker and Jason Parker, all of Milwaukee, WI; eight daughters, Kamilah Fox, Misty Robinson, both of Yorktown, Sandra Parker, Tanya Parker, Anita (Jeremy) Parker, Renada Pulley, Melanie Parker and Candis Parker, all of Milwaukee, WI; four brothers, Lee Arthur (Marilyn) Parker, Sr. of Yorktown, Troy Lynn Parker of Fresno, TX, Stanley Brown of Green Bay, WI and John (Valerie) Parker of Dallas, TX; six sisters, Gracie Brown of Yorktown, Albert Jean Wainwright of Star City, Aretha Shelton of Pine Bluff, Kimmie Payne of Chicago, IL, Angela (Alvin) Collins of Alton, IL and Betty Jean of Chicago; 52 grandchildren.
Funeral services are April 18 at 11 a.m. at St. Ollie Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Melvin Harrison officiating. Visitation is April 17 from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. There will be no graveside service.
