Willie Gaston, 63, of Lake Village, passed away on October 5, 2014, at Lake Village Rehabilitation and Care Center in Lake Village.
He was a farmer and a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church in Lake Village.
Mr. Gaston was born on March 8, 1951, in Lake Village and was the son of the late Albert Gaston and Alberta Williams Gaston.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Survivors are his wife, Margaret Crosby Gaston of Lake Village; three sons, Cedric Gaston of Dallas, Texas, Eric Gaston of Memphis, Tennessee, and Derrick Gaston of Fayetteville; a daughter, Jennifer Gaston of Lake Village; three brothers, James, and Charlie Gaston of Eudora, and Albert Gaston of Paris, Tennessee; nine sisters, Verdadine and Bonadine Carter, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Mary Jean Akins of Chicago, Illinois, Rosa Lee and Doris Gaston, both of Lake Village, Bobbie, Patricia, Helen Gaston, and Gloria Campbell, all of Eudora; three grandchildren, Charlie and William Gaston of Fayetteville, and Quinterrian Gaston of Jonesboro; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held October 11 at 1 p.m. at Bishop-King Funeral Home in Lake Village with Rev. Eugene Thomas officiating and under the direction of Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village.
