Wilson David Flowers, Jr., 75, of Gould, passed away on April 28, 2018.

He was born December 11, 1942 in Memphis, Tennessee and was the son of the late, Wilson David Flowers, Sr., and Mary Lucile Abbott Flowers.

Mr. Flowers was a self-employed truck driver and a Baptist and served in the United States Marine Corps.

His parents and a brother, William Calvin Flowers preceded him in death.

Survivors are his wife, Frances Flowers of Gould; three sons, James Mitchell of Gould, Michael (Jennifer) Flowers of Kirbyville, Missouri and Jonathan Mitchell of Gould; a daughter, Dayna (Todd) Moates of Atoka, Tennessee; two sisters, Mary (Criss) Prewett of Gould and Martha (Barry) Whitfield of Corinth, Mississippi; a sister in law, Jane Flowers of Birmingham, Alabama; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 3 from 5-7 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Gould.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 4 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Gould with Rev. Criss Prewett and Rev. Charles Calhoun officiating. Burial will be at the Dark Corner Cemetery.
