Grand prize winners of the IBLA Foundation’s international music competition will perform on May 6 at the Lakeside High School Auditorium in Lake Village.
The IBLA Foundation in New York City conducts an annual music competition for pianists, singers, instrumentalists, and composers which takes place in Ragusa Ibla, Italy.
Winners have performed in such venues as Carnegie Hall, the Lincoln Center and Alice Tully Hall and Carnegie Hall in New York as well as the Tokyo Opera City Hall, the Tchaikovsky Bolshoi Hall in Moscow and other prestigious venues in Canada, Europe, Russia and the United States.
The May 6 performance at Lakeside High School begins at 6:30 p.m. The school is located at 366 Highway 82 West. There is no admission charge.
Following the performance, there will be a reception at the Guachoya Cultural Art Center, located at 1652 Highways 62/85 South in Lake Village.
