A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Arkansas, including Southeast Arkansas where counties could see up to an inch or two of snow accumulation. In addition to the winter weather advisory, a freeze warning and a wind advisory have been issued for two Southeast Arkansas counties, according to the National Weather Service.

Southeast Arkansas

Cleveland and Jefferson
The advisory is in effect from noon Friday until midnight Friday for Cleveland and Jefferson counties with snow accumulations up to two inches.

Bradley and Lincoln
The advisory is in effect Friday at 6 p.m. until Saturday at 6 a.m. for Bradley and Lincoln counties with snow accumulations up to two inches.

Desha and Drew
The advisory is in effect Friday at 6 p.m. until Saturday at 6 a.m. for Desha and Drew counties where there could be up to an inch of snow accumulation.

Ashley and Chicot
The advisory is in effect Friday at 10 p.m. until Saturday at 6 a.m. for Ashley and and Chicot counties where there could up to an inch of snow accumulation. A Freeze Warning and a Wind Advisory have also been issued for Ashley and Chicot counties. Sub-freezing temperatures are expected Friday at midnight until 10 a.m. Saturday. The Wind Advisory will be in effect Friday at 6 p.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities and use caution while driving.
